Role: Sr .NET and Big Data developer
Job Description:
Citi is looking for a Sr Developer to design and develop the enterprise solutions using Microsoft technologies and MongoDB/Big Data. This position requires to have 10+ years of strong hands-on experience in C# .NET, Web APIs / Micro services, MVC.NET and 2+ years of experience in MongoDB/big data with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Microsoft Architect Certification (MCA) is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Functional Responsibilities:
* Performs as trusted advisor and develops relationships with clients (technical and non-technical) to drive applications business and technical capability.
* Design the solutions and write the technical design document
* Collaborates with senior applications developers to drive technical architecture and publish WBS.
* Provides general advisory services to development teams (e.g. refining solutions, resolving problems, improving processes).
* As a SME, Advises on best practices, secure coding practices, governance, implementation of Agile methodology, and integration of DevOps concepts.
* Provides technical leadership to engagements and develops detailed technical solution and estimates.
* Work closely with Business Analysts and tech teams for solutioning the new requirements.
* POCs on new technologies
Primary/Mandatory Technical Skills
* C#, .Net Core 3.* + (VS 2017 or above)
* ASP.NET MVC framework.
* MongoDB or any BIG Data experience is must
* Web Services, Micro service, JavaScript
* Strong knowledge on IIS, Server security and cloud computing
* Good Communication skills
Nice to have skills
* Angular 6+ framework
* Container, Docker, OpenShift container platform
* CSS, bootstrap
