Job Title: Sr. Software Engineer/Architect

You will be part of a global team that supports Einstein, one of the biggest AI platforms in the industry. You, alongside your team, will work with stakeholders to continuously develop, support, and operate the infrastructure, environment, and tooling that supports and enables the Einstein organization to design, improve, and innovate.
In this role you will have to engineer solutions that move us along our journey towards zero-touch, highly scalable, reliable infrastructure services. Automate, optimize and drive efficiency of effort, code, and process. Resolve complex technical issues and drive innovations that improve system availability, resilience and performance. Create, maintain and share technical documentation used by engineers and other team members.
What you need to succeed
This position requires strong technical skills, excellent communications and problem-solving skills, and the ability to engage and interact with global teams.
The ideal candidate will have skills of an experienced backend engineer, infra-engineer, and devops engineer.
Understanding and experience with infrastructure tools and technologies such as Kubernetes, Terraform, Helm, Spinnaker.
Knowledge on public clouds such as AWS to create tailored solutions solving challenging problems.
Understanding the concept of engineering for reliability and be able to drive agendas within the team and across the organization.
Required Skills
Working knowledge coding. One or more of Python, Golang, Java, and Bash are preferred.
Experience with AWS. GCP is preferred as well.
Being a great listener, collaborator, and communicator.
Ambitious and talented individual who wants to work as part of a collaborative engineering team
Preferred Skills
Experience in public cloud infrastructure development or equivalent backend development
Experience with Kubernetes, Istio, Docker, Helm, Terraform
Knowledge about cloud security and best practices
Experience designing, analyzing and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems
A background in open source technologies
