To support and encourage the adaptation of edge compute, we offer an efficient and cost effective 5G edge compute platform, providing micro services for deploying and processing of compute pay loads to our partners and 3rd party developers.
We are looking for an experienced “Senior DevOps Engineer” for our DevOps team, to assist in cloud infrastructure and architecture design, build/release management, and application CI/CD.
  • Design, document, and implement and implement solutions across the breadth of the organization's DevOps efforts.
  • Lead efforts to efficiently implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions to create, manage, and tear down virtualization/container clusters in both physical datacenter environments and AWS.
  • Assist with our cloud environment Infrastructure as Code (IaC) footprint through automation of common tasks, such as code deployments, test suites and build scripting.
  • Provide expertise on best practices for implementing secure, enterprise-scale cloud-based architectures, with focuses on performance efficiencies and cost optimizations.
  • Support and enhance a CI/CD build environment using deployment automation, blue-green deployments, and automated test methodologies.
  • Help maintain versioning control systems, numerous repositories and branches across multiple applications.
  • Support security audits, reviews, and implement new security measures.
  • Constantly familiarize and learn new toolsets and techniques that enable better platform management, code management, deployment management for CI/CD, and platform security.
What we're looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related field.
  • Three or more years of physical infrastructure virtualization experience with a focus on Linux KVM, VMWare, or similar technologies in a large-scale environment.
  • Five or more years AWS experience with a primary familiarity of infrastructure networking services (VPCs, NACLs, security groups, auto-scaling groups, CloudFormation, Route 53), management tools (CloudWatch, Config, CloudTrail, Service Catalog), Compute, Containers, Storage, IAM, etc.
  • Five or more years of experience with containerization solutions (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS ECS, AWS EKS).
  • Five or more years of experience with IaC tools (Chef, Ansible, Spinnaker, or others).
  • Experience with deployment and configuration of AWS Lambda, API Gateway.
  • Deep knowledge of continuous integration tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo or AWS Code Deploy.
  • Experience with automated test suites such as Selenium, JUnit, Mockito and TestNG.
  • Deep experience with both Linux and Windows OS'es, multiple variants (Ubuntu, Amazon Linux, and RHEL all desirable).
  • Knowledge of source control technologies (git, Perforce).
  • Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Strong independent work ethic, ability to prioritize tasks and solve complex architectural problems in an efficient manner.
  • Life-long learner - always curious and looking to stay up to date with latest toolchains, processes, industry standards, etc.
