Job Description:
- The team, part of the Artificial Intelligence group and seeking skilled software developers to act as primary technical support for customers building bots using the Bot Framework SDK and Bot Framework Composer.
- Customer Support Engineers have access to the Bot Framework, Composer, and Azure Bot Service engineering teams to learn from, and to reach out to when support issues require escalation. Hours are flexible.
- Solid writing skills are imperative as support will primarily take place over email, Stack Overflow, GitHub and over standard Azure support channels. The engineers must be able to provide clear, concise feedback written in fluent, conversational English. Additionally, the Support Engineers will contribute to articles/blogs/FAQs and will be expected to produce code samples to directly address commonly arising problems.
- Demonstrated fluency in C# or JavaScript.
- Excellent written and oral English communication skills, additional languages a plus.
- Ability to span multiple functions in any given day from technical troubleshooting with a customer to content documentation to writing code samples
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly in a dynamic environment.
- Great problem solver and troubleshooter with proven people skills who enjoys explaining solutions to others.
- Ability to work independently and in collaboration with other Support Engineers.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure products including Azure CLI
- development tools like VS Code and Visual Studio,
- ASP .NET Core and front-end technologies
- Git, GitHub, source control, and DevOps.
- Writing sample that validates for hiring manager the candidate's ability to take a customer through steps required to solve a support issue.
- Create a simple bot, with code checked into GitHub, demonstrating an understanding of the Microsoft Bot Framework SDK or Bot Framework Composer.
