We are looking for a DevOps Engineer (Remote to start) who will be part of a group that is responsible for the maintenance and support of firm applications. This function has broad knowledge of the business functions to resolve critical and strategic business technology challenges. The team member is responsible for providing Tier 3 support for a global internal application within the Global IT Team.
Responsibilities:
Diagnose and troubleshoot complex technical problems and leverage tools and contacts to determine failure points that may or may not be known.
Balance multiple services' SLAs and overlapping processes and deadlines.Incident management and Change managementManage escalation/routing of issues to other teams and ensure resolution is reached.Monitor and analyze application performance / failures and effectively implement necessary changes.Work closely with Solution Architects throughout the build phase of applications.Maintain and operate CI/CD pipelines.Provide suggestions regarding cloud/onprem infrastructure, resources, components integration.Create and maintain technical documentation.On call - 24/5 support
Minimum 3 years of experience as an application support engineer using the below technologies:Azure Portal - building and configuring Azure resources like: App services, Function apps, Key vault, SQL PaaS, Storage Accounts, ADF, App Insights, Service Bus Namespace.Azure DevOps (former VSTS) - Build CI/CD pipelines and manage access.Jenkins - Build/Maintain pipelines, Manage access.Microsoft SQL Server (2012 and above)Familiar with concepts like Load balancing, High Availability, DR, Azure RBACOn premises and cloud networking/routing concepts (NSG rules, firewall rules, URL rewriting)Familiar with Docker, Kubernetes.Advanced English communication skills (both written and verbal).A commitment to quality and a thorough approach to the workA technical aptitude and self-motivation to quickly learn and understand new technologiesEducation Required: Bachelor's degree in one of the following: Accounting, Finance/Economics, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Statistics Mathematics, Regulatory Compliance, Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics and/or other business field of study or equivalent experience
