Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Provide DevOps support on a large program providing IT Operations support for a globally distributed legacy system, cloud-based modernized replacement system, phase-in/phase-out support from legacy to replacement server as custom developed application package/installer development/support.
- Environment includes Windows servers (Server 2008, Server 2012, and Server 2016). All work performed on site at Ft. Detrick, MD at the Joint Medical Logistics Functional Development Center (JMLFDC).
- Assist in the preparation of documentation required to sustain development support of legacy DMLSS application as well as DML-ES systems.
- Collaborate with other contractors, to include other Defense Health Agency (DHA) contractors, in a typical cross-functional IPT approach providing operational support to correct software coding deficiencies, utilizing tools such as InstallShield, NAnt scripts, PowerShell, and Python.
- Work closely with the other members for the DevOps teams working on several different projects like DML-ES, DMLSS, and JMAR, etc..
- Participate in integrating testing tools such as Selenium testing and OWASP Dependency checker into CI/CD Jenkins Pipeline.
- Assist with the accreditation activities as they relate to legacy DMLSS and JMAR from operations perspective.
- Experience with the following tools/technologies: - C/C# programming (intermediate experience) - Deploy Visual Studio solutions - PowerShell fluency - PERL and Visual Basic scripting - Fluency with automation tools, such as SCCM or Ansible - Jenkins experience - API calls - Groovy scripting - Understanding of Windows Server 2008, 2012, and 2016 environments - Java programming (entry-to-intermediate experience)
- 5 - 7 years of related experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field required. Four additional years of experience may be substituted in Lieu of Bachelors Degree.
- Must possess an approved IAT II certification (CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+CE, CASP+CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCED, or GCIH)
- Experience in DevOps practices is desired (including SDLC)
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Current working knowledge and experience with Continuous Integration tools such as Jenkins and automation is preferred.
- Experience with Source Code repositories such as PVCS (Version Manager) and Git is preferred
- Experience with the RedHat OS and Windows OS is preferred.
- Working knowledge in Open Source Frameworks (Like NodeJS, Angular, and the Apache Foundation) is preferred.
- Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19
- Must possess a DoD Secret security clearance or have a current Tier III investigation.
- Must be able to obtain a DoD Common Access Card (CAC)
