RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Systems Engineer in Maryland, MO. Duties:

• Systems Engineer will have level III application support on 1-2 applications in an Agile environment
• Partner with the development team to manage sprints and deployments
• Production support: 1-2 releases per month per application - depending number of applications they support they will be having releases
• As a Systems Engineer, you will analyze and mine data to understand application issues that are happening

REQUIREMENTS:

• 3+ years of experience
• DevOps background
• Understanding of tools that are being used- Jenkins/Tomcat and Unix servers
• Understanding of the application lifecycle and how applications/packages are being deployed
• Understanding of relational databases / SQL experience
• Experience supporting applications built in Java, .NET, or Python
• AWS experience a plus
• Ability to be on call 1-2 times per month
• Scripting experience (UNIX environment)
• Excellent communication skills:
• Self-starter
