About the role - you will:
The Systems Firmware DevOps group is looking for a project manager to take the lead on organizing projects that focus on standardizing Firmware processes, creating a formal change management program, updating documentation for internal developer use, and assisting with business-related tasks. This is a new role so there will also be an opportunity to work with the leadership team to identify additional project areas that are a fit for your skillset. You will:

About the role - you will:
The Systems Firmware DevOps group is looking for a project manager to take the lead on organizing projects that focus on standardizing Firmware processes, creating a formal change management program, updating documentation for internal developer use, and assisting with business-related tasks. This is a new role so there will also be an opportunity to work with the leadership team to identify additional project areas that are a fit for your skillset. You will:
- Work across sub-systems to create common solutions
- Formalize process documentation, updating & auditing
- Create and administer a change management program for Firmware development processes
- Provide professional services support to the Agile Release Train & Product Management team by tracking metrics, gathering and maintaining information to support Agile ceremonies (meetings), shepherding Epics to completion & providing leadership updates
- Assist with business-related tasks related to area budget and lab management (e.g., expense tracking, capital procurement, inventory management)
- Track training, auditing and compliance issues
- Streamline data analytics for business decision making
- Detail-oriented approach to organizing work with demonstrated project management experience
- Ability to utilize appropriate toolsets (i.e., MS Office, JIRA) to roll up information, analyze its significance, and present to leadership team
- Talented writer who can create user-friendly process documentation
- Ability to gather cross-functional input to facilitate process improvement initiatives
- Strong communication and information sharing skills to support a global organization
- Self-starter willing to identify new projects that would benefit from your skillset
- Bachelor's Degree in electrical, computer, computer science, chemical or mechanical engineering (or other related engineering discipline) and 3+years of project management experience, or Master's Degree in Business Administration or Engineering Management (or related discipline) and 0+ years experience or equivalent education and experience.
- Demonstrated project management skills (either in a professional job or class project)
- Project work includes budgets or other financial reporting a plus
- Experience with Lean, Agile and/or Change Management methodologies
- Experience with product development processes or program management
- Familiarity with procurement and budgetary processes
- Familiarity with DevOps and/or Firmware/Software Development
- Familiarity with software tools used for Project Management (MS Project, Sharepoint, etc.)
