We are hiring a Systems Operations Engineer to support cloud platforms within the Hybrid Environments organization.
This roles requires high level of technical expertise to support private and public cloud platforms. This position serves as a direct escalation point for developers with technical issues and requires strong troubleshooting and problem resolution skills. Candidates must have a proven track record of working with PaaS offerings, Linux, Windows Server, containers and Kubernetes. This roles requires a strong understanding of large-scale computing solutions for both on-prem and cloud environments and ability to work on multiple, complex issues and projects. The ability to automate tasks with Powershell, shell scripting and Python is a must. This role requires daily use of Splunk for log searching and dashboard creation. Candidates will have experience working in an Agile fashion and are comfortable with Site Reliability Engineering methodologies.
The ideal candidate will have a balance of technical experience, be detail oriented, able to bring complex problems to a clear resolution and have the soft skills needed to interact daily with developers and various levels of management.
This position has an on-call rotation which requires some work after normal business hours and on weekends.

Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of systems support analysis experience demonstrated through work or military experience
- 4+ years of experience working in managed services as demonstrated through work, military, or education
- A BS/BA degree or higher
- 2+ years of configuration experience with Cloud service providers such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or MS Azure
- 2 + years of experience with cloud based tools: Azure, PCF (Pivotal cloud foundry ) or a combination of both

- Knowledge and understanding of AppDynamics
- 4+ years of experience with scripting languages such as Bash, PowerShell, Python, Shell, VBScript, or JavaScript
