The Image Payment Processing team supports 2 suites of applications, the TIC applications and the CK applications. The Transaction Image Consolidation (TIC) suite of applications (Transaction Perfection System, Transaction Perfection System Consolidator, Virtual ImageMark, and ImageMark interface) are a combination of in house developed distributed applications and vendor software products. The CK suite of applications (VMIC, ECLS, and IRD Statements) are in house developed mainframe applications. The applications are developed in Java, Perl, COBOL, Assembler, and C++ and utilize numerous middleware software and DB2, Oracle, Informix, and SQL databases. The team provides design, development, and level 3 production support for these applications.
The ideal candidate will be flexible and thrive in an evolving environment. We are looking for a candidate who has a proven track record to deliver complex initiatives in a dynamic environment with a focus on high system availability and software quality. Candidates should exhibit solid understanding and proven experience in software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, working on an agile team (kanban), Object Oriented analysis and design, front end HTML 5 & JavaScript technologies.
The Tech Bus Systems Associate will collaborate with other software development professionals on an agile team (Kanban) and support 3 COBOL and Assembler, mainframe hosted applications which support the Payment Management Infrastructure (PMI) Process. The PMI process is an electronic check image capture and processing work stream, for which our team provides support for 7 applications.

- Have Java development in a dynamic environment experience
- Have the ability to work on agile structured team
- Partake in an 24/7 level 3 on-call rotation supporting all applications in production
- Perform analysis to troubleshoot production support issues and determine resolution and root cause of issues. This team works in a virtual environment across multiple time zones, occasionally requiring a non-standard work schedule in support of this application that processes electronic transactions 24 x7 in support of our enterprise and customer needs. This position requires someone that can be flexible, wants to be part of a dynamic team, and is able to manage multiple priorities and tasks at the same time.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of business systems analysis or design experience as demonstrated through work, military, or education
- 2+ years of web applications experience
- 1 + years of experience designing and implementing solutions for test automation using Selenium and Java
- 2+ years of JIRA experience
- 2+ years of Agile experience
