Ally Content Services application is looking for a hands-on Technical lead with extensive Java and Cloud development experience to join our team based in Troy, MI. The candidate should have demonstrable experience in Microservices Architecture, Containers, CI/CD practices and building scalable solutions for public cloud. This Technical Lead should have experience directing a team of 5-7 developers and be comfortable working with business partners to ensure delivery of the right solution to satisfy the business need. This individual will be independent and highly motivated with high impact communication.

Job Responsibilities
- Develop software in an Extreme Programming environment using Test drive development (TDD)
- Design, develop and maintain REST and microservices using DDD and API first approach
- Provide technical leadership in migrating and modernizing apps to the cloud, from “lift and shifting” to building cloud native apps.
- Design for large scale enterprise architecture projects and implement the solution
- Performs root cause analysis, efficient production support and maintenance/enhancements for existing applications
- Lead a team of developers to consistently deliver on sprint and release goals
- Mentor developers on DevOps culture and automates and simplify development and operations processes
- Learn and work on other tools in Content Services platform like Quadient Inspire & IBM FileNet
- Create technical designs (Activity Diagrams/Sequence Diagrams, Class diagrams, API service specifications, etc.) by working closely with Technology and Business partners.
- 5+ years of hands on development experience in building resilient and high-performance customer facing web applications using Java and J2EE frameworks
- 5+ years in designing and developing REST services, microservices and implementation of event driven architecture
- 5+ years in Spring Framework. Experience with Spring Batch is highly desirable.
- 5+ years in Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, and other Cloud Technologies
- 5+ years in CI/CD with tools like Jenkins, GitLab, Bitbucket, etc.
- 5+ years in test automation tools like Selenium or Cypress and possess solid JavaScript skills
- Experience in design and development of Single Page Applications (SPA) using Angular or React is a plus
- BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
