Technical Release Coordinator is a Software Engineering role responsible for assisting the Release manager in software delivery life cycle. They have to work with the team through the planning, development, testing and deployment phases.

Roles and responsibilities -
Maintain overall development and test environment health across multiple environments
Establish and enforce controls for build management and release change control.
Lead code branching for production releases
Package and stage appropriate production ready artifacts
Assist release managers during production code deployment
Compile and review validation instructions for release deployments working with development teams
Conduct necessary code scans and run regression test suite to ensure quality in deliverables
Co-ordinate mock deployment and verification prior to production release
Assist release managers in production deployment documentation
Facilitate Sprint ceremonies for the teams
Compile and refine production change overview documentation to the end users
Continuously look for opportunities to take over all release prep tech activities to relieve teams to focus on delivering more
Skills Required
Bachelors in Computer Science or an equivalent degree
Project management experience
Knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
Hands on experience with Jenkins and Jules pipeline implementation
Experience in working with DevOps and Agile methodologies
Working knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle
Expertise in computer programming
Team management skills
Knowledge of traditional agile methodologies, including Scrum, Waterfall, or Kanban
Good understanding of application infrastructure, system architecture, and operating system
