Customer is looking for an excellent senior technical writer who can write high-quality, usable documentation that enables our customers to use IT now platform successfully. If you enjoy solving puzzles and presenting complex, technical information into comprehensive, well-organized, and easy-to-understand documentation, this is the job for you! Technical Writer must have knowledge of Service Now/SharePoint/PPTs and experience working in an agile environment.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of documentation for all products. You'll track the design and development process, research to understand the high-level concepts and the small details to provide high-quality user documentation.
- Become a product expert and keep up with new features and functionality
- Ensure content adheres to a consistent style, tone, and approach by following a style guide, reviewing existing documentation, and participating in quarter Knowledge base reviews
- Work directly with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), the Technical Team, and DevOps in an Agile environment to write and edit technical documentation for various applications utilized by clients on an international basis.
- Attend Scrum and daily stand-up meetings and collaborate with various departments and team members, including Developers, Product Owners, Project Managers, and Scrum Masters to ensure that documentation meets requirements and deadlines.
- Write technical documentation, user manuals, online help documentation, release notes, and API documentation for various platforms and software products.
- Develop interactive FAQs, training manuals, and process flows to help users get up to speed quickly.
- Build and foster relationships with developers, designers, and development teams to create content that accurately captures product experiences.
- Perform technical research and translate information into easy-to-read user manuals and web content ensuring that it meets the needs of the intended audience.
- Proficiency in creating Interactive videos/DIY to explain customer products their applications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of experience working as a Technical Writer
- 2+ years of experience working in an Agile environment.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, SnagIt (or similar), and Paint.
- Experience using JIRA and Service Now or a similar platform is a plus.
- Knowledge of and experience with PowerBi
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
