What will I be doing?
As a VP of Enterprise Applications & Systems at Hilton Grand Vacations, you will lead the Application Development, CRM, Implementation and Corporate systems teams! Work closely with the IT leadership team to formulate and set application development strategy, investment, and delivery. This role requires a senior technical leader who can deliver an enterprise strategy; is able to lead a core team responsible for HGVs sophisticated application portfolio and life cycle from system development through delivery and implementation. Oversee teams including a strong leadership team from software delivery, digital, Salesforce, contact management, corporate systems, testing and quality assurance. We are looking for an experienced IT leader who has demonstrated success redefining application development teams into modern development and delivery practices utilizing modern frameworks such as DevOps and Bi-Modal methodologies.

Additional Responsibilities Include:
- Solid background in modern software delivery practices and processes within a multi-functional and partner ecosystem.
- Solid technical background in a diverse set of technologies with specific experience on modalities in software engineering such as SOA.
- Experience in Agile and DevOps methodologies and experience driving enterprise adoption.
- Experienced with on-premises, legacy, hybrid and cloud native applications and delivery models.
- Ability to run complexity by balancing multiple and diverse sources of information to define problems accurately before moving to solutions
- Provide hands on expertise to identify, prioritize and solve problems quickly and efficiently.
- Stong communication skills to explain sophisticated technical concepts in real world terms.
- Be a technical inspiring leader and establish a team to mature DevOps standard methodologies for cloud based platforms.
- Work with CIO staff to drive the professional development of new/existing resources and skills that support DevOps practices to achieve measured outcomes.
- Find opportunities for automation and optimization and lead the incremental adoption into the delivery to improve efficiency, quality, and innovation.

- Previous experience working with global teams and conducting business internationally.
- Proactive partner that takes initiative with internal customers and peers to establish trusting relationships; strives to understand goals of business/technology, takes broad POV, effectively manages requests and helps to understand tradeoffs and makes difficult decisions.
- Build long term, mutually beneficial supplier relationships, identify, and develop strategic partnerships that drive innovation and support our goal of being a leader in the industry.
- Establishe performance goals for areas of responsibility. Guides direct reports in establishing performance goals for their areas of responsibility and for assigned staff.
- Build an internal team of subject matter experts to develop technologies in house while maximizing our external partnerships.
- Be in the details and hands on; think strategically but drive to action and be execution oriented.
Qualifications
What are we looking for?
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. (A comparable combination of work experience and training may be substituted for education requirements.)
- 10 + years progressively responsible experience in enterprise application development, to include previous management experience. Previous experience on the executive level preferred.
- Excellent organization, prioritization, analytical, and problem-solving skills in order to effectively oversee areas of responsibility and attain goals set.
- Critical thinking with the ability to analyze and resolve sophisticated problems and situations requiring broad-based solutions that impact areas outside of immediate responsibility.
- Executive level communication and presentation skills.
- Hospitality, Vacation Ownership or Leisure industry experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters Degree in computer science, information technology or a related field
- 10+ years in a leadership capacity in a vacation ownership or hospitality company
- Executive level leadership experience
