Job Description

As a Web Administrator, you will collaborate with a team responsible for deploying, troubleshooting, and maintaining our intranet, internet sites and databases observing DevOps best practices.

You will be a part of ensuring the security and integrity of our web-based, Azure systems so we can best meet and exceed our customers' expectations.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Implementing, monitoring and maintaining Microsoft Azure solutions, including major services related to Compute, Storage, Network and Security.
  • Interacting with website developers, infrastructure and network engineers and company management.
  • Monitoring the daily operation and administration of websites while ensuring systems are available for network traffic.
  • Assisting during the 'Decision' phase of new initiatives.
  • Supporting the deployment of both new websites, app services, function apps, and databases in addition to updates while maintaining synchronization between environments.
  • Facilitating automated deployment and code compliance prior to promoting to production.
  • Enforcing security compliance, policies and permissions.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in IT-related field of study

5-7+ years of experience within Azure and Microsoft Windows Server.

Examples of Azure experience desired could include:
  • PaaS monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning
  • Infrastructure as Code (ARM Templates/Terraform/CloudFormation)
  • Azure CLI
  • Front Door & App Gateways
  • Security and performance monitoring
  • Application Insights, Log Analytics, and Kudu
Examples of Microsoft Windows Server experience could include:
  • Ability to analyze system and IIS logs to identify potential issues and assist with troubleshooting.
  • Introduce and integrate new technologies into existing environments.
  • Assist with performing audits of systems and software.
  • Installing and configuring new software.
  • SQL database responsibilities
  • Managing security to include review and remediation.
  • Monitoring databases for errors and performing problem identification and resolution.
DevOps knowledge required

Ability to identify issues and determine root cause and collaborate on a solution when site abnormalities are encountered.
