We are seeking an Agile Champion to support the development and sustainment of the U.S. Navy Aegis Weapons System in Moorestown, NJ.

Roles/Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate coordination of dependencies across product teams.
  • Support teams as scrum master when needed.
  • Assess and monitor product level capacity to ensure workload is achievable and balanced.
  • Coordinate with Sr. Manager and Engineering Managers to derive solutions for capacity and/or workload issues.
  • Coordinate product status and communicate with all stakeholders.
  • Develop relationships to assist the Sr. Manager with organizational solutions and direction throughout the entire release process.
  • Assist with Agile process improvements with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide Agile Training Classes and Coaching to product teams.
  • Coordinate with the Lead Agile Architect to resolve issues and discuss suggestions/improvements from the product.
  • Support DevOps including coordinating automation initiatives and Continuous Integration tooling needs.
  • Review, collate, and present monthly agile data and variance analysis.
  • Support Sr. Manager with release data for Project/Product reviews.
  • Ensure the Program and Product Feature Backlog Grooming sessions are valuable and supported for Continuous Planning purposes.
  • Manage Product in JIRA for status; Identify and track Product Features at risk and escalate appropriately
  • Assist Product Owners with understanding and tracking team velocity.
  • Analyze Product Agile Metrics generated by the Metrics Team and JIRA.
  • Coordinate Sprint Start and Stop times in JIRA from a Product-level.
  • Facilitate product Scrum of Scrums.
  • Validate Epics and Stories are consistently entered into JIRA with all the required fields.
  • Responsible for the cost and schedule of department efforts for assigned projects.
  • Plan and control department project finances through negotiation with project managers, business managers, and functional managers.
  • Track, perform analysis, and find trends in project cost data utilizing Earned Value Management (EVM) in compliance with the applicable ANSI standards.
  • Assimilate management information to write reports detailing variances from the performance measurement baseline.
  • Develop specific, actionable corrective action plans to overcome challenges.
  • Perform risk and opportunity management on scoped tasks and provide inputs, including mitigation steps to the program and risk manager.
  • Communicate operating philosophy, objectives, scope, and expectations to staff and engineering managers.
  • Ensure compliance with the terms of the customer statement of work (SOW).
  • Develop and present formal presentations for the customer and internal management.
