The Enterprise DevSecOps department (EDSO) delivers optimized process and automation to accelerate delivery of IT services while also embedding security and controls. This applies to the application development process, infrastructure deployment and operations processes. Since EDSO was established there has been quantifiable evidence of strong productivity, risk reduction, and improvement in infrastructure delivery timeframes. EDSO enables the broader organization to operate using DevSecOps and automation principles by providing a combination of platform, process and culture direction.

Your Primary Responsibilities
This role will involve support and maintenance of DevOps products, tools and services, that support our continuous Integration, continuous deployment/delivery capabilities and automated provisioning on both cloud and On-Prem Platforms.

  • Lead and manage a team on incident and problem management collaborating with various teams to ensure customer issues are resolved timely and efficiently
  • Develop and contribute to knowledge base, create technical articles, process, and procedure documentation
  • Analyze issues/failures in products and services and identify common themes, root cause and remediation actions that will strengthen the stability and reliability of the product
  • Contribute to technical process improvements across a variety of disciplines such as training, Agile, and modern development practices
  • Strong customer service skills and an ability to interact at all levels of the organization

Talents Needed For Success:

  • Bachelor's degree in technical/computer discipline or related experience
  • 9+ years’ IT industry experience with skills using DevOps pipeline, support and manage a team on either application or infrastructure is a must
  • Experience in supporting systems from an infrastructure, code, and security concept perspective.
  • Linux and Windows OS administration
  • Experience in any of the ITSM Service Desk tools (Service Now, JIRA, Remedy)
  • Solid understanding of Incident, Problem and Change Management ITIL processes
  • Exposure to technologies and platforms such as: UNIX/Linux, Jenkins, Fortify, Git, Maven, OpenShift, Chef, Kubernetes, Docker
  • Scripting/programming experience using bash, PowerShell & Groovy
  • Strong writing skills and ability to communicate & present effectively
