Description
- **Due to contractual obligations with clients, the Cloud Software Engineer must be located within the United States.
- The Cloud Software Engineer will be reporting directly into the CTO, this role will be oversee the development and maintenance of a major AWS platform.
- Design and develop a processing platform using various configuration management technologies
- The Cloud Software Engineer will practice software development methodology in an agile environment.
- Collaborate cross functionally with other key stakeholders in the company including Data Scientists, Data Engineers, and Project Managers
- The Cloud Software Engineer will be expected to keep knowledgeable on emerging technologies and their potential to be included for company use
- 3-5 years of experience working with Software Engineering for a Cloud platform
- Experience with AWS a must
- Degree in Computer Science field highly desirable, Advanced Degree preferable
- Experience with scripting in Python, Java, and/or Bash required
- Experience with Cloud data management tools such as Redshift or Athena preferred
- Strong DevOps ability and background
- Ability to work collaboratively with both large and small group settings
