Client needs a mid-range PHP back-end developer who is looking to grow their career. Client is looking for a self-starter who takes initiative and jumps right in. Client is not looking for someone who has spent the majority of their experience solely doing websites but rather wants that back-end developer who can build on a framework, make products, write code, and integrate external systems through APIs.
Requirements for this role include 3-5 years experience writing custom PHP or Python web applications (70% of the daily work will be with PHP and 30% with Python). Candidate needs to also possess skills in MySQL, HTML, CSS/JS, and have a working knowledge of OOP principles and applications.
Additional skills that are not required but would be good to have include experience with DevOps, Ansible, and Terraform. Other optional qualifications would be writing documentation in code and writing unit tests.
Experience in a healthcare setting would be a plus as would experience in a cloud-based platform setting.
This role is 100% remote and is open to all candidates working in The United States. M-F Business hours apply.
There will also be an assessment in PHP and Python given to candidates in order to be considered for submission.
