RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce's Fortune 100 client is seeking two Big Data Software Developers on a remote contract basis.
REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree or its equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, MapReduce, Kafka, Spark, Storm, Elasticseach
• At least 2 years experience in: JavaScript, Python or Shell scripting; Java programming; Linux / Unix operating systems; Ansible or Chef; Full-stack Development
• At least 1 year of experience with: Java frameworks (e.g. spring, hibernate, struts); XML and REST API integration; Relational database design/development (e.g. DB2, MySQL); NoSQL database design/development (e.g. HBase, MongoDB, Cloudant); Integrating SAML / Single Sign-On (SSO) / LDAP authentication for applications
• At least 1 year of experience with Agile development / DevOps methodologies and tools (e.g. GitHub | Travis | JIRA)
