In this role, you'll be responsible for: As a BDM, you'll establish new relationships with prospective clients to achieve maximum revenue possible.
Selling IT solutions and services to inactive clients & potential prospects.
Developing new business through cold-calling, networking and driving your territory.
Following up on leads generated by lead campaigns, trade shows and inbound telephone and website leads.
Attaining established goals set by self and direct manager.
5+ years as a Business Development Executive.
Multiple years of experience selling IT solutions.
Preferred experience of selling Enterprise Application Development, Legacy Application Modernization, Product Development, Digital Transformation, Cloud and Mobility, QA and DevOps, Security, Business Process Automation, SaaS Applications
Microsoft and SAP Solutions, Thought Leadership and Assessments, IT Consulting and Staffing Services.
Domain experience in Healthcare, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Logistics, BFSI, Non-Profits, Life Sciences.
Lead generation and technical sales experience are a must.
Extensive contract negotiation experience.
Proven experience developing sales strategies, conducting cold calls, closing techniques, and pricing proposals.
Must have a technical sales background and competencies.
Must have a track record for an increasing growth of responsibilities.
Job Responsibilities:
Develop sales plans/approaches.
Identify prospects and develop sales strategies to secure new business, which includes sales calls, competitive analysis, marketing campaigns, attending trade shows, and follow-up activity coordinated within that plan/approach.
Conduct prospecting in active and inactive account sales calls, both independently and joint with business development managers.
Facilitate the effective presentation of our Business Solutions offerings in order to broaden our penetration into new and existing accounts.
Meet regularly with management to review/coordinate sales efforts to ensure continued focus and success in meeting and exceeding sales activity and revenue targets.
Collaborate with internal SMEs to identify, qualify and prioritize consulting opportunities.
Work closely with customers to understand their requirements, map those to company’s service offerings, and propose differentiated solutions.
Build new and leverage existing relationships at new and existing clients across relevant roles including CIO, CTO, VPs and other influential “mobilizers” within target accounts.
Build sales funnel by actively hunting within existing clients and new prospects.
Responsible for identifying, prospecting and securing business opportunities to support new revenue growth.
