Job Description
Responsabilities:
We are looking for a motivated, proactive, and highly contributing DevOps Engineer to join our consulting team and work on strategic projects that require an accelerated time-to-market.
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Act as the main point of contact with our client's Fixed Income front officers in the New York office regarding the various pricing tools they use.
- Design and develop pricing solutions for the traders
- Be responsible for software releases, configuration, monitoring, and support of all production system components and infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot technical or functional issues in a complex financial environment to provide timely resolution, with various applications and platforms that are global.
- Work with users to understand and gather their needs in our client's catalog and then participate in the required developments.
- Manage several streams of work concurrently.
- Get in touch with our teams abroad to deploy and adapt existing European and Asian tools.
- Bring a passion to stay on top of DevOps trends, experiment with and learn new CI/CD technologies.
Required Skills:
- Experience developing applications using .Net C# 4.5+ or Java
- Experience developing user interfaces using Angular 4 or React
- Strong understanding of Agile and CI/CD concepts.
- Undergraduate or Graduate degree in Computer Science or related concentration.
- Strong object-oriented programming skills.
- Comfortable with scripting language.
- Knowledge of source-control tools.
- Energetic, self-directed, and self-motivated, able to build and sustain long-term relationships with business and colleagues.
- Ability to solve problems with a keen eye for details; a strong desire to learn and contribute solutions and ideas to the team.
- Self-directed, independent, and comfortable in fast-paced, ambiguous, and matrix environments.
- Can manage multiple tasks and use judgment to prioritize and escalate to achieve desired outcomes.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to adapt one’s communication to the audience.
- Degree in Finance.
- Experience as DevOps in the financial services industry.
- Experience in Fixed Income pricing.
- Knowledge of TeamCity and OctopusDeploy.
- Knowledge of Capital Market and Investment Banking Activities.
- Knowledge in risk analysis and pricing.
- French is a plus
