A services company in Massachusetts is currently seeking an experienced IT professional to join their staff as their new Cloud Data DevOps Engineer. In this role, the Cloud Data DevOps Engineer will be responsible for focusing on automation of deployment and integration tasks (CI/CD) and driving cloud infrastructure management and automation for a Cloud Data Engineering team.

The Cloud Data DevOps Engineer will:
- Support Cloud/Big Data Engineers in coding and integrating data pipelines for automated deployment
- Evaluate new tools and approaches to continuously evolve the team’s DevOps practice
- Act as interface with other DevOps teams in the Enterprise
- Participate in Cloud Data Engineering tasks
- Handle other duties, as needed
- 4+ years of experience with developing in an Object-Oriented Programming language
- 3+ years of developing in Python
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field
- Familiarity with specialized scripting/SDKs related to data management (e.g.: Boto3, PySpark)
- Familiarity with key file formats: JSON, YAML, AVRO, Parquet
- Strong familiarity with AWS environment
- Working knowledge of CloudFormation
- Practical experience setting up build pipelines
- Experience with working with GIT and other SCM
- Excellent writing and documentation skills
- Great interpersonal skills
- Excellent communications kills (written and verbal)
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly organized
- Java background
- Experience with Visio, Draw.io, LucidChart and other diagramming tools
