We are currently seeking a Cloud HPC DevOps Engineer to join our team remotely in the United States.
Join NTT's growing Electronic Design Automation (EDA) Cloud practice to help Semiconductor companies adopt the cloud for their Electronic Design Automation (EDA) workloads. NTT Data utilizes an Agile development methodology and works closely with clients to develop custom solutions when required.
Responsibilities:
- Develop Infrastructure as Code templates tailored to the EDA ecosystem
- Take lessons learned from previous engagements to further enhance standard offerings and re-usable modules for new clients
- Cloud automation to enable an event-driven architecture for large scale compute clusters
- Collaborate as part of an assigned team on the development and testing of DevOps solutions for automated testing, infrastructure, and config management
- Build up container development, deployment, and management workflows complete with security by design
- Participate in Group Code Reviews, and ensuring proper code documentation
- Support the Scrum framework in terms of how you approach your tasks, with the guidance of an Agilist
- Provide customer support when needed (customer-facing role)
- Participate in Project Kickoff Calls and Solutions-Delivery Handoff Meetings (customer-facing role)
- Work with customers in US Central and European Central timezones
- Administering large scale distributed systems (e.g. Spectrum LSF, Grid Engine, Slurm, AWS Batch)
- Familiarity with large scale NFS file servers and architecture (Netapp, EMC)
- Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Cloudformation, or Azure Resource Manager Templates)
- AWS DevOps Certification (Associate or Professional)
- Microsoft Certified DevOps Engineer
- Agile development
- Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.)
- 3+ year’s experience in an EDA computing environment
- 3+ years experience Python and/or Shell scripting
