Job Purpose:


This is an exciting time to join the world of data, analytics and AI is changing, and it is no longer just about managing data. You will be part of a team that is building a robust data governance and analytics capability, that will allow you to drive higher value by placing data at the core of the strategic and operational decisions.



Responsible for the design, development and delivery of the tools and technologies aligning to Data Governance and MDM strategy across all areas of the business. Opportunity to scale up the engagement and build relationships with executive members. Provide mentorship and career development to further build talent and capabilities.



Role and Responsibilities

• Define, implement and communicate data quality and governance roadmap including test automation and data remediation
• Review the business processes and workflows needed for strengthening data management and play a major role in identifying, cleaning, and assuring the data by implementing the right tools
• Ensure that data processes and activity is clearly documented, understood, and communicated to international partners.
• Define and execute process controls with Dev Ops team to define key Data Quality routines that need to be instrumented as well as process-level controls where needed.
• Works actively with Product teams and Dev Ops to identify actions needed to meet data quality standards
• Establishes and maintains a data quality issues repository, and ensures that it is implemented according to standards and that all required personnel have appropriate access to it
• Ensure consistent and complete data monitoring and evaluation of quality against agreed standards.
• Creation and management of Metadata dictionary.
• Ensuring compliance of data with regulations and identify training needs for all data users
• Generate regular and ad-hoc reports for Partners to supervise data quality and governance
• Influence data quality strategy for a program/project; explores design options to assess efficiency and impact, develop approaches to improve robustness
• Lead discussions at peer review and use quantitative skills to positively influence decision making
• Effectively explain technical concepts at all levels in the organization, including senior managers/partners
• Design and document architecture at multiple levels (high-level to detail) and across multiple views (conceptual, logical, physical, data flow and sequence diagrams)
• Hands on to Translate business requirements into conceptual and detailed technology solutions
• Hands on in Customer Data Governance on pharmaceutical customer data like HCP and HCO
• Liaison with the IT and business and demonstrate data assessment and data integration for Informatica MDM
• Process Assist/develop new or enhanced business process requirements for Customer domain, maintain design and process documentation, and supervising technical works etc.
• Validate data integration challenges, perform exception handling and partner concern
• Supervise customer data quality post integration

Good to have -

• Experience with data modeling and integrating with source data systems and BI tools. Expertise architecting and delivering highly-scalable, distributed, cloud-based enterprise data solutions
• AWS hands-on expertise and programming background. Good knowledge of Big Data frameworks and related technologies (Spark, Kafka, Hadoop, NoSQL...)
• Lead Design and Implementation of Data Lake - HD Insight Clusters, Data-Bricks, HIVE, HIVE LLAP, Oozie, HDFS, Azure Data Lake Store, Azure Data Factory, OMS, APIM Services, Domain Join Clusters, DevOps Pipeline, Kubernetes, Docker, Bamboo,.
• Experience in Implementation of DWH/ETL Process Design Solution on AWS – Attunity, Python, Airflow, Jenkins, Teradata, ABC Framework (replaced Informatica OnPrem with Python+Airflow), Lambda functions, AWS DynamoDB

• Bachelor of Technology in CS&IT
• Graduate Program in AI/ML from reputed institution. Graduation / post graduation in the relevant stream

Preferred skills

• Sound knowledge of Effort estimation & building proposals.
• Leads business-level client relationships (expectations, communications, negotiations, partner concern, feedback, etc.).
• Data Quality and governance experience within data and analytics domain including experience in automation
• proven track record in managing working groups involving various multi-functional partners, documenting the detailed meeting minutes and supervising action items
• Experience working with data verification, data management, and data maintenance and experience of remediation data gaps.
• Experience with one or more programming language such as SQL, Python, R, etc.
• The ability to perform work with a high degree of independence in terms of self-management of a large variety of tasks and initiatives regarding Quality.
• Strong analytical, organizational, interpersonal, and time leadership skills
• Good communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
• Validated experience in life sciences and healthcare commercial analytics
• Exposure to working with large data sets in cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, Google cloud
