Title: Data Engineering Lead in the Data and Analytics Area
Location: Jersey City, NJ or Whitehouse Station, NJ
Duration: 6 months contract to hire role.
Technical Lead to lead the global Azure Data Ingestion team. Hands-on technical leader with the ability to dive into the details and problem solve as needed but also be able to look ahead strategically to enhance the Data ingestion framework developed by the team. The team is a distributed team composed of employee and vendor resources – so should be able to lead the team effectively towards delivering the ingestion roadmap.
1) 7+ years of total experience with at least 3+ leading delivery teams.
2) Experience Leading Development/delivery of .net & SQL applications, preferably in Data Engineering, ETL, Data Pipelines space.
3) Strong expertise in Databases and SQL
4) Exposure to Dev/OPS and Cloud Technologies, preferably in Azure – Azure Data Factory is a strong Plus
5) Some knowledge of Shell, python, Linux scripting
