Robert Half Technology has a fantastic opportunity for a Database Developer with experience to join a growing, dynamic team. As a Database Developer, you'll be highly involved in database architecture from beginning to end, designing, developing, and building systems. Successful candidates are highly skilled at query writing and have a real passion for operational development. This Database Developer role is a long-term temporary employment opportunity that is based in the Houston, Texas area.
What you get to do every single day
- Generate a database schema based on application related function and type of the data
- Develop a method for storing database data in the future
- Supply documentation and training to the Database Administrator. Also, provide training to other users when requested
- Create, code, and implement relational databases
- Foundational knowledge in Devops Engineering
- Microsoft Azure experience preferred
- Comprehensive knowledge of Azure SQL Database
- Proficiency in DevOps
- Solider understanding of database troubleshooting, and background with industry standards for database operations
- Strong query coding expertise - you can write a query to do almost anything
- Previous experience working as a Database Developer or a related role
