Description:
As a Part of Artificial Intelligence & Data Team, This position is Responsible for supporting enablement strategies for effective data analysis and reporting. Implements and supports data analytics, data collection systems, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality. Monitors performance and quality control plans. Works on problems of moderate and varied complexity where analysis of data may require adaptation of standardized practices. Assist management to prioritize business and information needs.
JOB DUTIES:
Person will be supporting the the end to end process of batch and real-time pipelines to enable insights for executives and channels to make proactive business decisions. This person will be the first line support for data loading into the production Hadoop environment.
MUST HAVE SKILLS:
- Problem-solving skills.
- A methodical and logical approach.
- The ability to plan work and meet deadlines
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong Linux/Unix command level experience
- Experience using job workflow tools, Oozie, Cron and ESP
- Experience using file transfer protocols, sftp, scp, MFT/CFI
- Experience using big data tools, HDFS, Hive, Spark, DistCp
- Deploy and support the infrastructure for data extraction, preparation, and loading of data from a variety of sources.
- Support data and analytics tools that will offer deeper insight into the pipeline, allowing for critical discoveries surrounding key performance indicators and customer activity
- Identify valuable data sources and automate collection processes
- Analyze large amounts of information to discover trends and patterns
- Build tools to be used by support team to improve load quality
DESIRED SKILLS:
- The ability to analyze, model and interpret data.
- Experience with programming languages, Tools and Technologies like Hive/Kafka/Spark/NiFI/shell scripting
- Experience with GCP
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:
B.S. or equivalent work experience
