DevOps EngineerThe Challenge:

That’s why we need you, an experienced DevOps engineer, to help us shorten the time it takes to get critical tools developed and into the hands of end users who need them to apply for assistance to government benefits in a timely manner.
As a DevOps engineer on our team, you’ll use your development experience to streamline our software development life cycle from requirements to monitoring in production. You’ll incorporate open source tools, automation, and cloud resources to cut down on tedious, boring tasks and free up the team’s developers to do what they do best – innovate. You’ll implement continuous integration and delivery to limit manual testing and troubleshooting. This is an opportunity to build your experience in automating infrastructure provisioning and DevSecOps for a critical application providing timely benefits to citizens.

You Have:
3+ years of experience with Linux, including RedHat or Amazon Linux
2+ years of experience with Cloud
Experience with source control management (SCM) systems, including Git, Bitbucket, Subversion, or ClearCase and managing branching strategies
Experience with Kubernetes or OpenShift
Experience with continuous integration tools, including Jenkins and Hudson
Experience with supporting production systems
Ability to obtain a security clearance
BA or BS degree
Nice If You Have:
Experience with supporting external facing production systems in the federal government space
Experience with configuration management tools, including Puppet, Chef, Ansible, or Salt
Experience with test-driven development or behavior-driven development
Experience with Groovy
Experience with Containerization, including Docker
Experience with Web Services, including REST or SOAP
Experience with static code analysis, including Sonar
Experience with systems development for federal clients
Knowledge of fundamental networking concepts, including CIDRs or Subnetting
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
Possession of excellent organizational skills, including multi-tasking
