Job Description
The DevOps engineer will be responsible for the automation of Enterprise Systems releases,
deployment of changes from lower to higher environments Production/QA/UAT, supporting CI/CD processes. This position works with software developers, integration developers, business system analysts and other IT members to automate and improve development and release processes, establish consistent use of best practices, make deployment cycles shorter, and ensure that our release processes are designed to meet our business & technical needs efficiently and scale for future growth.
Qualifications
* 5+ years of experience in Software development
* 3+ years of experience in a DevOps engineering role
* Strong DevOps focus and experience building and deployment with technologies such as Maven, Jenkins
* Understanding of modern DevOps/SRE concepts including automation, configuration management, immutability, observability and reliability
* Experience with containers and container orchestration platforms
* Experience with Git as a source control system
* Experience with Azure, GCP cloud technologies
* Experience with Agile development methodologies
