Kforce has a client that is seeking a DevOps Engineer in New Brunswick, NJ. Key Tasks:
- DevOps Engineer will be helping architect scalable, highly available application solutions that leverage Azure services
- Advising and implementing cloud best practices based on AWS Well-Architected Framework
- As a DevOps Engineer, you will continuously improve processes, technologies, applications to provide best value to business
- Jenkins (5-6 years)
- Python Programming (3-4 years)
- Terraform, ARM Templates (2-3 years)
- Azure Kubernetes (2-3 years)
- Azure Power Shell (2-3 years)
- Azure Container Registry; Azure Key Vault; Azure Monitor; Azure Storage (2 -3 years)
- Strong practical application experience in securing and deployment of serverless architecture applications, Linux and Windows-based platforms
- Experience with containers (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, ECR, EKS, Fargate, etc.)
- Experience with SSO/SAML including providers such as Okta
- Implementing DevOps practices such as infrastructure as code, continuous integration, and automated deployment - CI/CD (e.g., Jenkins, TeamCity, Octopus)
- Strong practical knowledge integrating development platform with CI/CD tools such as Gitlab, Jenkins, SonarQube, Artifactory, CodeDeploy including development of pipelines
- Hands on familiarity with orchestration tools such as CloudFormation and/or Terraform and must have automate-first and automate everything thinking
- Experience with configuration management/automation platforms (e.g., Systems Manager, Chef, Puppet, Salt, or Ansible)
- Strong scripting skills (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash, Ruby, Perl, etc.)
- Experience in delivering and deploying highly scale, high performance Web Applications and experience in Blue/green deployments, A/B testing
