Job Description
- Become a vital part of the team and assist with new product planning, design and implementation
- Help create and maintain the standards and procedures to promote application deployments across environments with minimal / no down time
- Working with Quality Assurance (QA) department to provide sign off and change management for production deployments
- Working with Solution Architects and Lead Developers to design the implementation architecture for solutions using IaaS / PaaS / SaaS cloud based capabilities
- Working with Solution Architects and Developers, troubleshoot any issues found in deployed systems
- Working with 3rd party IT providers to integrate their solutions with our own
- Working with internal compliance teams to ensure all data privacy and protection are part of the overall solutions in global context
Required Technology skills
- Azure and AWS Cloud Services including WepApps, SQL Server Management, Web Jobs Microservices and functions as well as Storage Accounts
- Windows and Azure PowerShell
- Agile development processes
- Experience in migration of IIS/SQL .Net stack application to Azure PaaS/IaaS
- Geo-Distributed data collection and traffic management
- Understanding of local IIS (HA/Load balanced) implementations including CDN integration
- Strong understanding of application and platform based security best practices including OWASP, ISO and GDPR
- SDLC methodologies
- Atlassian Suite (Jira, BitBucket/Git, Bamboo)
- Git source control and branch management
- Experience with “Containerizing” applications with solutions such as Docker / Kubernetes
- IIS / Apache and Database deployments
- Understanding of REST API and other secure data transfers (testing and securing)
- Basic understanding of Big Data system architecture/limitations
