We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer... . We value creativity, hustle, and grit, combined with low ego and effective communication. The role will report to the Director of Engineering.
What you'll do:
- Contribute to the development of our infrastructure and software architecture
- Collaborate with our security team to build a high-security DeFi environment on the Ethereum Blockchain
- Create, own, and maintain CI/CD pipelines that enable cross-functional teams of engineers
- Help to support, educate, and unblock our software engineers while avoiding becoming a bottleneck
- Improve Monitoring, Alerting, & Telemetry to enhance visibility and understanding across our system
- Write and maintain documentation & educational resources
- Develop internal tooling for yourself and the wider team
- Support the evolution of art and artists in the digital world
- Excellent communication skills
- 3+ years of experience as a professional Software, DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure engineer
- Prior cloud computing experience
- Extensive experience with containerization
- CI/CD experience
- Experience with various forms of monitoring, alerting, and tracing.
- Knowledge of basic security best practices in a cloud-native environment
- A passion for learning new things and tinkering with technologies
- An understanding of blockchain basics and smart contracts (Especially ETH)
- Familiarity with databases, caching, and log collection/analysis.
- Previous FinTech or DeFi experience
- SecOps/security knowledge
- Prior work with container orchestration (Kubernetes, Nomad/Consul/Vault, serverless, etc.)
- Experience working with Ethereum
- Golang, Haskell, or TypeScript development experience
