We are seeking a highly motivated DevOps Engineer to add to our DevOps Enablement team who combines and eagerness to work with new technologies while collaborating with technology and operations peers and business partners to enable product delivery teams to more quickly and efficiently embrace a DevOps culture at Thomson Reuters.

About the Role:

Turn new requirements into code, including unit testing, deployment, and ongoing monitoring

Work with team members through practices and tools enablement including a focus on automation and defining new ways of working, along with a modern development toolset

Partner with delivery teams through a DevOps transformation of the product lifecycle from requirements definition, through development, and operations

Investigate, design, configure / integrate and test process control solutions to a variety of technical problems

Analyze and implement strategies for continuous deployments while ensuring high availability on production and pre-production systems

Understand and build automated tests fit into the bigger picture of software delivery for building CI/CD pipelines, optimizing the execution of tests, and ensuring that the tests are regularly providing fast and reliable feedback

Collaborate with peers to identify priorities for enablement measured by an increase in developer efficiency

About You:

Bring an eagerness and curiosity to learn and apply the use of DevOps, automation, and modern tooling

Solve problems including working with teams across all business segments

Worked with team members to drive toward key metrics and measure results to track the DevOps transformation

Understand both coding and software design principles

Versed in multiple automation tools (Jenkins, Ansible, GitHub Actions, etc.) and able to properly evaluate new tools

Experience in at least one or more programming languages (Python, node.js, etc)
