- Build and maintain network infrastructure as well as software infrastructure
- Kubernetes clusters build and maintenance.
- Troubleshoot related Kubernetes issues as well as Docker containers that run on them
- Technical documentation of usability of the Kubernetes, Docker and related technologies
- Work with Development and QE teams on gathering steps on setting up and deploying software in an automated and repeatable way for efficient delivery
- Translate business needs into engineering user stories providing the context necessary for full understanding and facilitation of Engineering and automation related inquires
- Research new technologies in DevOps arena and coming up with proposals on delivery improvements
- 5-8+ years of relevant experience with technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker
- Java, Python, Bash Shell Scripting, Groovy
- Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL
- Experience with Unix/Linux and Windows development environments
- An understanding of Network engineering infrastructure (e.g. protocols, routing, switching, firewalls)
- Experience with virtualization software and cloud infrastructure like AWS, Azure of Google cloud platform
- Scripting and programming experience with Infrastructure using Python, Perl, Ruby, PowerShell, etc.
- Experience supporting and implementing pipelines in Cloud infrastructure
- Knowledge of best practices and IT operations
- Experience with Agile practices
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills
- Negotiation, facilitation and consensus building skills.
- Must be proactive, demonstrate initiative and be a logical thinker.
