Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking Junior, Mid, and Senior DevOps Engineers to support the Department of Defense (DoD) in San Diego, CA. The DevOps Engineer must be ok with working onsite / in person Monday-Friday.

MUST HAVE AT LEAST AN ACTIVE SECRET CLEARANCE.

**Active TS or Active TS/SCI is highly preferred.

Responsibilities of the DevOps Engineer include:

• Administer Linux/Unix systems including RHEL and CentOS
• Design, deploy, monitor, and maintain solutions in a DevSecOps environment
• Automation and configuration management using Ansible, Puppet, Chef, and/or other similar tools.
• Coding and scripting with Python and Bash
• Identify and resolve security vulnerabilities

Qualifications for the DevOps Engineer include:

• Active Secret Clearance is required. Active TS or TS/SCI is preferred.
• 2-10+ years of experience in DevOps Engineering, AWS Cloud Engineering, and Linux Administration in RHEL or CentOS
• 2-5+ years of automation and configuration management experience with AWS, Ansible, Terraform, Chef, and/or Puppet
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent additional years of experience
• Must have at least one of these certifications: CompTIA Security+ , A+ , CISSP , AWS Certified

Compensation for the DevOps Engineer include:

• Salary Range: $100,000 - $160,000 **depending on experience**
