RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in search of a DevOps Lead in Greenwood Village, CO. Summary: The DevOps Lead will be responsible to provide leadership to the DevOps team to drive implementation of fully automated multiple CI/CD pipelines, one of each service category. Each pipeline should deliver code from Development to Production with a press of a button going through Integration Test, Staging and other environments. While providing leadership, they should be hands-on to carry on some of the development activities by themselves. The DevOps lead will also interact with key stakeholders to understand requirements, set expectations, and collaborate with them to deliver the CI/CD pipelines. They should have worked in the Agile environment to plan and deliver the pipelines in iterative and incremental fashion. The DevOps Lead is expected perform various CI/CD activities that include but are not limited to the following:

- Establish a vision for implementing fully automated multiple CI/CD pipelines for over 100 services at this company with a push of a single button
- Provide technical leadership to the team
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders such as Integration Testing and Deployment teams to understand requirements, set expectations and collaborate with them
- Develop and execute an Agile plan to deliver results in iterative and incremental manner
- Showcase progress through demos to the stakeholders and management team on a weekly basis
- Take responsibility and share the development and testing of stories
- Should have an undergraduate and/or graduate degree with a GPA of 3.5 or above in Computer Science or one of the related areas
- Should have at least 5 years of experience in leading DevOps team(s) that delivered fully automated multiple end-2-end I/CD pipelines
- DevOps Technical Skills - should be proficient in DevOps work including development and automation of CI/CD pipelines using a variety of DevOps tools; Should be able to provide technical leadership to other members of the team in various ways such as clarifying requirements, resolving technical issues/blockers, reviewing their code and supporting them to complete their piece of work
- DevOps Tools - should have experience with DevOps tools such as but not limited to - Argo, Kubernetes, Git, Helm, Docker, Bitbucket, STH Test, Gitlab and Jenkins
- Agile - should be able to develop and execute an Agile plan to deliver value in an iterative and incremental manner
- DevOps Soft Skills - should possess the soft skills necessary to deliver projects such as problem solving (including root cause analysis), ensuring efficient communication with stakeholders and the team, negotiating, and motivating the team
- Self-starter - should be able to take initiative and perform their job fairly independently; Should not require any kind of monitoring from his manager or senior leadership
- English language skills - should have good written and verbal English language skills
