Our client has an immediate need for a DevSecOps Engineer to join their growing team. The successful candidate will work with a team of technologists to design and build a 'best in class Firmwide Toolchain for the company, help define and implement a holistic software strategy, be a proactive voice in our public cloud strategy and partner closely with the software community of practice to ensure our offerings align and enable Blue Chips across each of the business lines. They want to be the differentiator and you will be part of the plan.

Thorough understanding of software development methodology and champion the DevOps model
Detail-oriented coupled with the ability to show initiative, good judgment, and resourcefulness
Creative visionary, ability to define a platform with an outcome-oriented approach
Ability to drive progress with very-little guidance and short turnaround
Ability to lead engineering team to deliver projects, coach, and mentor engineers
Qualifications:
Strong working knowledge of modern development technologies and tools such Agile, CI/CD, Git, GitLab, GitHub, Terraform and Jenkins
Hands on experience with container orchestration via Kubernetes
Intermediate-level implementation skills with Java and J2EE; Core Spring Framework and Spring boot
Intermediate-level knowledge of working in JavaScript and contemporary JavaScript APIs such as ReactiveJS and/or NodeJS
Basic knowledge in Oracle, MS SQL and RDBMS database concepts
Experience with cloud computing platforms (Amazon Web Services/AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure)
Strong programming skills in BASH, Python, Perl, GO, etc.
Experience with Artifactory and/or Spinnaker a plus
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent technical field
Certified in one or more cloud technology (AWS, Azure, GCP or RedHat) is a big plus
