If you are an Information Technology Manager looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in our Austin, TX, St Louis, MO, Boulder, CO or Eden Prairie, MN location, you will be responsible for eCommerce systems architecture strategy and operations activities, including deploying technology resources that provide modern, secure, stable, and effective solutions to achieve or exceed operational and strategic goals.

AS an IT Technical Manager, YOU WILL:
  • Influence and support the strategic roadmap for Digital Customer Experience portfolio with design recommendations and code reviews of the following core Technologies: HCL Commerce, MuleSoft, Integration patterns for online Engineering Tools with Oracle/ERP backend
  • Leverage Azure CI/CD pipeline, Git Hub, understanding of security vulnerabilities, Selenium, SQL, XML, and Java in support of the agile software development lifecycle
  • Maintain knowledge of emerging technological trends and utilize this knowledge to educate both IT and the business on opportunities to build better IT solutions that support and drive business decisions
  • Provide leadership oversight for systems within the portfolio area including prioritization of technical enablers and architectural runway following SAFe agile framework
  • Collaborate with peers in platform and enterprise information systems areas to coordinate activities and present KPI progress to governance and stakeholders
  • Align people with enterprise objectives to deliver business value following Scaled Agile framework, make decisions on hiring, terminations, promotions, and vendor management

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline
  • 8 years of related IT experience
  • Experience leading a team or managing others
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present and influence
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States- sponsorship will not be provided for this position
  • ADDITIONAL INFO:

  • May travel internationally and domestically (up to 20%)
  • PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
  • Experience with Agile Software Development, DevOps processes, Software Configuration and Provisioning Services, Software Support and SaaS.
