Responsibilities:
The Director of IT Infrastructure is responsible for operational and service management processes to ensure that quality, efficiency and agility goals are achieved. As a member of the IT senior infrastructure leadership team, the role contributes to the development and execution of the enterprise-wide IT strategy. They also ensure department alignment with the enterprise's business strategy and the delivery of capabilities required to achieve business success. This position will recommend and promote capital and operating expenditures within area of responsibility. The Director of IT Infrastructure will work closely with decision makers in other departments to identify, recommend, develop, implement and support cost-effective technology solutions for all aspects of the organization. This position will also define and implement IT infrastructure technologies, policies, procedures, and best practices.
Director of Infrastructure will have solid technical infrastructure experience, strong project management acumen and excellent vendor management skills, in addition to a superior, service-oriented approach to infrastructure operations.

In addition as part of leadership team for Cloud Center of Excellence you will:
- Participate in the definition, execution, and maintenance of enterprise-level Cloud migration strategy, approaches, tools, etc.
- Provide expertise and best practices implementing Cloud migration factory approaches and drive success.
- Ensure that goals, scope, policies, and product domain are understood by everyone on the migration team.
- Identify and implement techniques for effective backlog management that best fit the Cloud Migration case.
- Contribute to tasks such as building cloud foundations, cloud based deployments, migration to the Cloud, hybrid environment management, reviews of environments from the perspective of best practices, security/compliance and automation.
- Mentor team members to ensure cohesive thriving for successful delivery.
- Report to executive management on major accomplishments, issues and concerns.
- Bachelor's degree or ten (10)+ years of software engineering experience.
- Fifteen (15)+ years of people management experience preferably in Infrastructure space, leading by engagement, empowerment, continuous feedback, and coaching.
- Hands-on experience in a public Cloud environment (Azure Cloud preferred).
- Understanding of multiple public Cloud models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and providers (AWS, Google and/or Azure).
- Prior demonstrated success in a matrix-managed, cross-functional, and collaborative organization.
- Prior experience managing technology infrastructure teams and being responsible for the execution KPIs, SLA’s and timelines.
- Passionate about Cloud Migration practices.
- Ability to communicate to both very technical audiences as well as presenting complex technical designs to senior leadership.
- Understanding of project and program management standards and methods.
- Familiar with application and workload dependencies, architecture and service level requirements.
- Knowledge of the DevOps and/or DevSecOps cultures and principles.
- Bachelor Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science and/or Engineering Required.
- Fifteen (15)+ years of experience in a Senior level leadership over Information Systems in area of Infrastructure and IT operations.
