About the Position
Provides the primary point of contact for technology related projects, requests, technical consulting; IT project management; and high-level hardware, software and enterprise application support to all City divisions.
This position supports a software development group of approximately ten people, by keeping key hardware and software systems running properly. Some of the systems this role is responsible for include Azure DevOps (on prem), Stackify and SonarQube. This person will also support the organization by creating and maintaining various automation scripts for software builds and deployments. This role will also assist in the development and maintenance of automated software testing scripts.
Desirable experience for this position includes: Working in a DevOps role utilizing Agile development methodologies, automation software experience, software development and/or scripting language experience such as PowerShell and C# and Windows Server IIS configuration.

Minimum Qualifications
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited educational institution in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field.
- A minimum of five years of experience in systems analysis and design, testing and implementation of computer-based information systems and project management experience working on multiple projects and assignments simultaneously required.
- A minimum of one year of programming or equal combination of training and experience in one or more of the following: SQL, Oracle, Forms and Reports.
- An equivalent combination of education and job-related experience may substitute for the educational requirements on a year-for-year basis.
