Some of the exciting opportunities that will be tackled by this dynamic new role include:
  • Leading a small team that will provide enterprise PMO services, and direct portfolio management execution for strategic Foundational portfolios; facilitating and innovating process governance and compliance auditing for matrixed PMO teams
  • Consolidating and facilitating Demand management processes, orchestration, and reporting for JLLT Foundational strategic initiatives that require alignment across geographies
  • Establishing a standard ePMO Portfolio Management Service Offering: roles, engagement models, governance practices, and team operation
  • Leading Change Management and Communication for ePMO initiatives including facilitating the JLLT Community of Practice to grow and enable project management capabilities across JLLT
  • Partner with JLLT Program and Product Line Managers, Finance, and Business Management to establish shared governance and perspectives aligned to business outcomes for JLLT portfolios; facilitating conversations to help integrate Product and scaled Agile flexible delivery approaches
  • Create an environment where continuous change and new capabilities (Portfolio, Agile, Product, Project, and Program) are developed and measurably ingrained within the organization
Job Responsibilities
  • Works directly with ePMO leadership to understand strategic and tactical goals and translate into effective strategy and business outcomes. Examples include:
  • Drives data quality, efficiency, and owns the delivery of clear concise reporting for JLLT Foundational Leadership on Foundational Flagship initiatives and Portfolios
  • Enables standard project and program management capabilities and reporting across the organization like status reporting, risk management, financial management, Program and Portfolio Strategy, and time tracking.
  • Works to adapt and innovate Agile and Product Centric ways of working into traditional project processes
  • Collaborates with ePMO and Foundational PMO teams to develop, coordinate, and release deliverables including: collateral, training, documentation, pilots, QA, and communication plans into business-as-usual and PPM tool processes. Eg: identifying, quantifying and tracking the realization of expected benefits defined in business cases
  • Directly manages and provides ongoing coaching and mentoring to team members
  • Facilitates the global JLLT ePMO Governance Processes to create and extend a robust and flexible Portfolio, Program, and Project methodology and toolset focused on business outcomes for use throughout the JLLT organization
  • Defines compliance processes, and regularly audits project data for quality and compliance and coaches’ teams to improve project and program reporting and delivery for teams across JLLT
  • Builds and maintains close relationships with other group’s PMO and Product leads to ensure governance requests are captured, prioritized, and planned, and that initiatives are managed and reported effectively
Capabilities & Experience
  • 10 or more years’ experience in IT Program & Portfolio Management execution including: policies, process, and procedures, and experience interacting with IT projects and processes technical in nature. Knowledge of the industry project management best practices – Agile and PMI.
  • Practical experience and proven leadership in global portfolio process alignment, team leadership, PMO Governance, portfolio and project management, change management, documentation, global communications and coordination
  • Experience directly managing technical programs, diverse teams, and managing “upward” among senior leadership
  • Experience with PPM software tools (e.g., Workfront, Planview, Azure DevOps, Clarizen, JIRA, or similar), SharePoint and documentation expertise, Microsoft Office tools, Excel & data management knowledge required.
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, strong independent problem-solving skills, able to set priorities and work autonomously and collaboratively within a dynamic agile team
  • Possess an intellectual curiosity and be able to collaborate with others beyond their own business line and geographic boundaries, fostering trust, shared learning, and partnerships across the organization.
  • Ability to travel internationally as needed, and occasionally adjust working day to support different time zones
