The Manager leads a team of direct and matrixed contributors in onboarding databases to target state access management tools and manage identity and access entitlements for the database and unix/linux systems. The position involves regular interactions with executive leadership and business-aligned identity and access management leaders and stakeholders and
manage the daily provisioning activities for Unix systems. Primary responsibilities include:

  • Leadership and decision-making for a highly technical team responsible for providing identity and entitlement management, problem resolution, enforcement of security policies/standards/risk controls, implementation of new solutions and technologies, as well as tier 3 support for systems and applications used by the lines of businesses; ensure provisioning and deprovisioning controls are sustained and effective according to access management policies and control standards
  • Responsible for solutions and processes used to mitigate risk and ensure the security of data;
  • Works collaboratively with other managers and partners within the Enterprise to continually increase the efficiency of processes and quality of service for our line of business partners;
  • Ensures staffing is adequate for shifts in work, volume fluctuations and new business;
  • Is responsible for performance management activities, staff coaching, training and development;
  • Administers budget, operating policies, and planning for the department;
  • Maintains a broad awareness of the state of information security across the enterprise and industry and influences change to information security policy, standards and procedures for systems/applications/tools;
  • May represent the organization to external partners, including regulators, industry groups and governmental agencies

  • Accomplish management responsibilities which include sourcing and hiring talented employees, providing ongoing coaching and feedback, recognizing and developing employees, identifying and managing risks, and completing daily management tasks.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of technology experience
  • 3+ years of experience with strategic planning in a technology environment
  • 2+ years of experience with leadership in an enterprise technology environment
  • 5 + years of access management experience in one or more of the following: provisioning, de-provisioning, certification, authorization or authentication.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience managing large technology development efforts within a major line of business
  • Ability to influence across all organizational levels, particularly senior management
  • Knowledge and understanding of control standards/solutions and technical baselines
  • Audit or internal controls testing experience
  • Experience with major database engines including Oracle, SQL Server and DB2
  • OIG (Oracle Identity Governance) suite experience
  • 3+ years of experience with Tivoli Identity Manager or IBM Security Identity Manager
  • Knowledge and understanding of conversions, system analysis, data mapping, conversion reconcilement, validation and implementations
  • Knowledge and understanding of application development in a banking environment
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
  • Outstanding problem solving skills
  • Ability to think creatively to find innovative solutions to complex analytical questions
  • Ability to articulate issues, risks, and proposed solutions to various levels of staff and management
  • Solid conflict management and decision making skills
  • Strong customer relationship management skills
  • Ability to negotiate and facilitate issue resolution

Other Desired Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5+ years working knowledge of the BoKS Security tool
  • 2+ years UNIX security knowledge
  • 3+ years of experience managing large information security functions
  • Database on-boarding and entitlement experience within an Unix environment.
  • CISSP or CISM
  • Experience in identity and access management implementation and integration
  • Advanced Information Security technical skills and understanding of information security practices and policies
  • Ability to manage complex issues and develop solutions
  • Strong knowledge of Agile and DevOps, Secure SDLC and integration of vulnerability scanning with Secure SDLC framework
  • Demonstrated Knowledge of Access Management functions and processes
  • Experience with Project planning and project management
  • Proven use of metrics and data used for decision making.
  • Ability to develop effective metric reporting.
  • Familiarity with incident management and change management process.
  • Experience working with internal Auditors and compliance testing.
  • Experience maintaining entitlement information and identity management systems.
  • Experience coordinating coverage and support in a 24X7 environment including with non-U.S. based team members.
  • Experience leading access related projects of varying complexities.
  • Experience with leading and conducting team meetings
