Detailed Overview:
- The individual in this role will have responsibility for adopting and deploying server, storage, compute and network infrastructure solutions to all international sites to ensure standards and availability requirements are met globally.
- Will participate in the development and execution against long-term strategies to leverage new technologies to keep pace with changing business demands while improving infrastructure efficiencies.
- This individual is accountable for delivering global technology solutions, in line with strategic business objectives.
- Project execution, resource deployment and overall coordination efforts to ensure projects are completed on schedule and to budget with quality outcomes.
- Partnering closely with the application teams, project managers, and technology teams, she/he ensures business needs are clearly understood and the technology implemented meets the needs and expectations of the business.
- Strong knowledge of core enterprise infrastructure technologies including architecture, engineering and operations of endpoints, server, storage, network, voice, collaboration, mainframe, and data centers, cloud
- Strong knowledge and experience managing professional services vendors, outsourcing business models, processes and tools
- Strong understanding of balancing customer priorities, developing cost effective solutions, and driving organizational process optimization
- Ability to lead infrastructure engineering and operational teams both onsite and offshore consisting of employees, contractors and service providers
- Excellent partnering skills and ability to develop effective working relationships with executives, senior management, business stakeholders, operations, IT, and third-party providers
- Ability to influence and drive cross-functional teams at all levels across a global organization
- Strong understanding of project implementations, project structure and life-cycle and best practice standards and tools
- Excellent planning, budgeting and organizational skills
- Ability to establish transformational strategies and roadmaps with executive support to leverage infrastructure as a service to drive down platforms costs, improve overall quality and speed of delivery and to align capabilities with key business objectives
