Essential Functions
- Owns the delivery of the technical solution for the business opportunity.
- Participates and leads in all phases of Web application product development and deployment of solution; develops new features per business requirements, or enhancements that support existing applications.
- Provides Technical leadership to a small team of .NET / web developers.
- Develops traditional and rich internet applications in a service-heavy architecture.
- Provide software estimates, and task management in an Agile environment.
- Troubleshoot and remediate defects.
- Interface with product owners, vendors, and Infrastructure teams to derive on definable sprints and support.
4-year degree in computer science or engineering or related field
- 7+ years working on reasonably complicated web applications.
- Experience in development techniques:
- Object oriented
- Domain driven design (DDD)
- Test driven development (TDD)
- Continuous integration (CI)
- Model/View/Controller (MVC), Model/ViewModel/View (MVVM)
- Experience with technologies:
- High competency with C#/.NET (.Net 4.0+ preferred).
- ASP.NET MVC
- HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, XSLT
- JavaScript (jQuery)
- XAML
- nHibernate
- SQL
- WCF
- Microsoft Enterprise Libraries (Logging, Exception Handling, ServiceLocator, etc.)
- Elasticsearch
- Any JavaScript frameworks such as React or Angular or Vue
- Bridge.net
- Bootstrap
- SASS/LESS
- Source control
- DevOps Azure /GIT and Vault (SourceGear)
- Database
- Microsoft SQL
- Understanding of multi-tier architectures including client-side vs. server-side
- Familiarity with high availability infrastructure application design
- Knowledge and demonstrated experience with cross-browser and cross-platform issues (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, Chrome)
- Competence in TDD. Deliverables will include unit tests with a code coverage minimum.
- Experience with some front-end build tools (webpack, rollup, parcel, babel)
- Experience with optimizing JavaScript heavy applications (bundling, minification, code-splitting/lazy loading, caching)
