Azure Cloud Engineer
Our client is looking for an experienced Azure Cloud Engineer to join their team! This is a great opportunity for anyone who enjoys a high energy and fast-paced working environment. As a Cloud Engineer you will work alongside engineering teams, QA and DevOps in building and maintaining infrastructure and platform operations in Azure cloud. The main tasks will include infrastructure architecture, development and maintenance, requirements analysis (data stores, DevOps, cloud services), documenting processes, site reliability, deployments and deployment infrastructure.
Location: 100% Remote
Duration: 6 month contract to hire
Pay Rate: $65-70 hourly W2

- Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions
- Architecture, improvements and maintenance of Azure Kubernetes Services and other container architecures/microservices
- Architecture, improvements, and maintenance of Azure DevOps CI/CD Services
- Performing requirements analysis for data storages, cloud services, data, and domain modeling
- Documenting and communicating the final results and efforts to the team.
- Providing leadership, training, coaching, and guidance to junior staff
- Ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements.
- Updating, implementing and maintaining procedures
- 4 Years Applicable Experience
- Skills & Experience (top skills):
- Cloud (Azure) Infrastructure Design/Development
- Azure App Services, Azure Kubernetes Services, Functions, Container Services
- Continuous Integration & Continuous Delivery (CI/CD)
- Azure DevOps, Pipelines, Scripting (PowerShell, Shell scripting)
- Cloud Data Stores
- Azure SQL, CosmosDB (NoSQL), Redis Cache, Transactional vs Analytical usage patterns
- Data ETL processes and patterns
- SQL, data access patterns, query tools
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience and/or industry certifications
- Any of the following background job experiences: Software Engineering, Data Engineering, DevOps, DBA
- Infrastructure as a Service tools like TerraForm
- Graph Databases
