Have you been seeking a ground floor opportunity where your input will the groundwork for our client's future?

We have an immediate need for an IT Project Manager for our start-up government-related client in the Omaha metro. This firm will be ramping up from 5+ employees to over 300 in their first year, and hundred's more thereafter.

Your mission will include:

Lead the project, from analyzing and understanding customer needs, writing specifications throughl the implementation of the solution
Coordinate the internal and external team members who are taking part into the implementation and deployment of the solution
Supervise the technical teams involved
Deliver the projects on quality, cost and deadline
Ensure customer satisfaction through the life of the project
Estimate implementation costs and staffing needs
Plan and distribute project tasks
Lead the software development process: specifications, technical design, development, sprints monitoring, tests, documentation, production and support
Manage vendors and partners, wherever they are located
Check compliance with the specifications and achievement against project objectives
Define and manage the scope and leads projects change requests
Define and monitor project risks
Provide regular follow-up reports to the Program Director
What you'll need to be successful in the role:


Bachelor's degree in technology
Any additional certifications such as PMP, PbMP, PMI-ACP (Agile Certified Practioner), Scrum Master, or SAFe certifications would be favored
5+ years' experience leading custom software development projects or systems integration projects.
Experience with PEGA will put you at the top of the list!
Minimum 2 years' experience in agile software development
Knowledge of DevOps environments
Advanced computer skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and web-based project management solutions (experience with JIRA is a plus).
Effective communication skills and ability to work with people at all levels
Ability to manage multiple projects, its priorities on a daily basis and its commitments (quality, cost, deadline)
Demonstrated ability to foster and grow professional relationships with customers (professionalism, responsiveness, flexibility …)
Ability to manage difficult situations, conflicts and decide objectively according to the requirements
Ability to be a team player and manage international teams
Ability to motivate, lead and manage a team
Ability to analyze and synthesize
Adaptability and autonomy
Ability to work onsite daily.
