RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer for a 6 month contract to hire position in Kansas City, MO. This is not a remote position. Responsibilities:

• Point of escalation and mentor for all DevOps team members and DevOps responsibilities
• Provide in depth knowledge and support with SQL operations, scripting and database structure, strong understanding of execution plans (PowerShell and fundamental .NET concepts)
• Demonstrate understanding test environment components
• Engineer and manage Azure DevOps build/release pipeline
• Dynamics AX ERP release process
• Develop self-service tools for common Infrastructure needs

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree
• ICAgile Certification ICP-FDO (Foundation of DevOps)
• ICAgile Certification ICP-IDO (Implementation of DevOps)
• 7+ years working in IT
• C# .NET programming language - Foundational understanding
• Understand Agile software development lifecycle
• Microsoft SQL Server and strong understanding of T-SQL
• Troubleshoot scripts
• PowerShell skills
• Ability to write scripts
• TFS/Azure DevOps, Jira, GIT, Jenkins, TeamCity, Octopus Deploy
• Team oriented, positive attitude, detail oriented
