Technology Enablement and Pipeline (TE&P).

Wells Fargo Technology is going through a tremendous transformation and this is a very exciting time to join our team! The Chief Technology Office (CTO) is leading the transformation in a multi-cloud technology landscape by developing and delivering innovative products that delight our customers and speed to market banking products to our customers. The Technology Enablement & Pipeline (TEP) team within CTO has a critical role in driving this transformation and a key responsibility for the Enterprise Pipeline and its Operational Support, across all applications in the Wells Fargo Enterprise.

We are looking for a senior-level technologist with expertise in DevOps products to drive transformation of enterprise practices, with a focus on Security related features. As a key technical leader in crafting and delivering the DevSecOps and CI/CD Pipeline strategy for the enterprise, they are expected to define and guide implementation of an automation roadmap and product strategy for DevSecOps functionalities and practices, act as internal Agile consultant to drive automation across the SDLC, and integrate with state of the art tooling and platforms. With full support from senior management, these are transformation driver roles which will directly impact how development will happen at Wells Fargo.

Key Responsibilities Include:
• Apply subject matter expertise in DevSecOps and CI/CD engineering.
• Drive the security policy compliance automation features of enterprise-wide CI/CD solution, considering tools like Jenkins, uDeploy, GitHub, Artifactory, Jira, Harness, Spinnaker, SonarQube, Fortify, BlackDuck, Checkmarx, Threadfix, Xray, etc.
• Define the product strategy, product requirements and management of the backlog, as well as authoring the acceptance criteria.
• Partner across various stakeholders like development teams, architecture, control owners and other cross-functional teams to deliver the product automation backlog.
• Represent the Product Management team in daily standups, product meetings, design sessions, sprint planning, retrospective and other cross-functional meetings.
• Release prioritization and identification/mitigation of potential blockers and issues, as well as ensuring the delivery is aligned to the overall roadmap and product strategy.
• Act as the product champion within the organization with clear in-depth technical understanding of all features, functionality, and industry trends.
• Evaluate new products to get key outcomes where necessary, as well as re-evaluate new ways of using existing capabilities.
• Create and manage a 'Community Influencer' group to maintain high level of engagement with the consumers of the product.
• Partner with technical writers and other communication leads to develop content for demos, trainings and other presentations.
• Attend key industry conferences combined continuous research of the latest modern tools, technologies and trends.

Selected candidate will be required to work within one of the following Wells Fargo locations: New York, NY; Raleigh, NC; Minneapolis, MN; Phoenix, AZ; or San Francisco, CA. Preference will be given to those candidates that either currently live in or are willing to relocate to one of these locations.

This role is posted as a Senior DevSecOps Strategy Leader; however, the Wells Fargo job title is Technology Business Services Principal Associate.




Required Qualifications


  • 10+ years of technology experience
  • 3+ years of experience with secure DevOps and deployment automation to cloud environments
  • 3+ years of Agile experience
  • 3+ years of product strategy development experience


Desired Qualifications


  • Experience managing large technology development efforts within a major line of business
  • Ability to influence across all organizational levels, particularly senior management
  • Experience applying new technologies to business needs in a technologically innovative , change-driven organization
  • Ability to consult with business partners to define key performance metrics, dashboards or scorecards
  • Secure SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) methodologies experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of Information Technology governance risk and compliance processes such as; policies, control standards, risk management concepts, or information security


Other Desired Qualifications
• 2+ years of experience with DevOps automation development using a pipeline-as-code approach
• Enterprise experience with one or more CI/CD implementation, configuration management, build, and orchestration tools: Jenkins, Maven, Gradle, uDeploy, GitHub, Artifactory, Harness IO, Spinnaker, Terraform
• Experience with one or more security and code quality scanning tools: SonarQube, Fortify, BlackDuck, Checkmarx, Threadfix, Xray
• Experience with container solution implementations, preferably Kubernetes or Docker
• Experience with one or more Cloud platforms: AWS, Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) or VMware Tanzu App Service (TAS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Azure
