Job Description:
The Scrum Master will be leading multiple scrum teams working to manage, enhance and maintain a core processing platform for loan due diligence industry. The candidate should have the experience of working with senior executives, third party product vendors, product managers, architects, business analysts, UI/UX designers, developers, quality engineering, cloud, and information security engineering to deliver positive, measurable outcomes for the business. This individual will be responsible for keeping track of Epics, Features, User stories and holding all stakeholders accountable for their deliverables in a timely manner.

- SCRUM Master (led multiple teams) with technical project management experience
- Strong Agile Experience (led multiple teams through agile ceremonies)
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps & Wiki
- Structured approach to agile with the ability to be polite, yet firm and assertive
- Work with Product Manager, Sr. Business Analyst, UI/UX Designer, Executives
- Understand technology (Azure cloud, .Net, databases) to navigate technical blockers
- Facilitate high complexity Agile initiatives from initiation through release, providing oversight to ensure alignment with Agile/Scrum practices, including but not limited to, project kick-off, sprint, release, and deployment planning
- Facilitate status updates, product demos and retrospectives
- Facilitate discussion leading to collective decision-making, goal setting and conflict resolution within the team
- Accountable alongside the scrum team for the achievement of release objectives and results that meet LOB stakeholders’ needs and expectations
- Demonstrate expertise with agile project life cycle and proficiency in the use of tools such as Azure DevOps
- Manage risks to delivery; Support and align efforts of information technology team to meet business needs
- Provide leadership to team members and peers by collaborating with others; articulating ideas and viewpoints to senior management, peers, and others; identifying and initiating projects; managing resources; driving the resolution of issues; and holding self and team accountable for results
- Provide proactive coaching to the team and recommend continuous improvement of processes and tools to optimize team productivity, quality, and time-to-market
- Embrace change, influence, and coach team members with an agile mindset
- Remove impediments to delivery success through the proactive management of external dependencies, complex problem-solving and the development of new solutions or approaches to ongoing challenges; has the authority to execute against new approaches and escalate issues through business and/or IT channels where necessary
- Accountable for creating and maintaining the appropriate vehicles for open communication within the scrum team (e.g., Azure DevOps tracker boards) to create a trusting and safe team environment
- Continuously seek to improve team performance by promoting joint accountability for results and solving productivity issues
- Engage in and facilitate business analysis, user experience and technical conversations across platforms and multiple levels of influence
- Building, leading and mentoring cross functional teams
- Application of industry-leading project management and SDLC methodologies and tools

- Monitor task completion and compliance with best practices for product development team
- Possess strong communication skills - both verbal and written, collaborative skills and organizational skills
- Experience as a Scrum Master – where Scrum principles, practices and theory were diligently applied
- Prior Software development experience (either as PM, BA, tester, or developer) preferred
- Strong time management/organizational skills with the ability to effectively manage competing priorities
- Solid reporting skills and analytical skills
- Strong leadership skills demonstrated by delivering the right results
- Strong skills and Experience as a Sr. Scrum Master working in a true agile environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively interface with business operations, institutional clients, and team members
- 10+ years of financial services industry experience preferred
- 5+ years of mortgage industry experience preferred
